Our 3D Printing and Laser Cutting Combo Class is a haven for young minds of all levels (~6-14y/o), offering a unique opportunity to create personalized masterpieces using cutting-edge technology. What Awaits Your Child: Over two exciting weeks, your child will embark on a transformative learning adventure. Guided by our expert instructors, they'll dive into the world of 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad, mastering the art of laser cutting, and exploring 2D design with Cuttle.xyz. We will guide them to create projects, such as a custom chess set,etc. Whether they're beginners or advanced users, we've got tailored instruction for every skill level. Daily Schedule (Mon-Fri): Please note, our program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. - 8:30 AM: Start the day with open playtime, where young imaginations run wild with STEM toys and games. - 9:00 AM: Dive into our structured program, beginning with 3D design using Autodesk Tinkercad and Cuttle.xyz. - 10:00 AM: Recharge with a delicious and nutritious snack, followed by some free play to fuel creativity. - 10:30 AM: Return to 3D printing and laser cutting, putting designs into action. - 11:15 AM: Engage in enriching STEM Activities (Coding, Science Labs, Robotics) or enjoy energizing Sports Activities (Disc golf, Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee). - 12:00 PM: Lunchtime brings a chance to refuel and unwind. - 12:30 PM: More free playtime for exploration and relaxation. - 1:15 PM: Dive back into project design and 3D printing, focusing on rapid prototyping and refinement. - 2:45 PM: As the day winds down, we'll tidy up and prepare any overnight prints, with each student having the opportunity for one large overnight print per week. - 3:00 PM: It's pick-up time! Meet us in the lobby, where your child will be brimming with newfound knowledge and inspiration.
